Joshua Lumsden, PA-C, MA, MCHS is an internal medicine PA who practices at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, WA. He is president of the Washington Academy of Physician Associates. His clinical interests include LGBT Health, and has lectured in multiple states on gender affirming care and HIV treatment and prevention. He has published research on systems-based HIV prevention. He has a special interest in mental health and burnout, and has led work on suicide prevention in his clinic, and regularly challenges thinking on professionalism, health disparities, and team-based healthcare. He is an avid cook, once competed in an amateur bodybuilding competitions, collects tattoos, and has a geriatric chihuahua named Rocco.
